DEV Challenge β is a development championship that has been considered the largest European IT competition since 2012. Over 19 seasons, more than 25 thousand CEE IT professionals have participated. The Final of the 20th anniversary season will take place in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Nominations
- Backend
Implement tasks in scripted programming languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl, Node.js, or compiled languages such as C#, Java, or Go. You will be assessed on your ability to develop stable and efficient backend solutions using modern programming technologies, databases, and architectural patterns.
- Frontend
Perform tasks to develop website, game, or web application functionality using web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Participants' skills in creating user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and interactive interfaces for web applications are assessed.
- Testing
Analyze the performance of websites, web applications, or systems to identify bugs during testing. Assessments include the ability to perform complex tests to verify software functionality, security, and performance, the ability to automate testing, identify and fix bugs, and develop testing strategies.
- UI Design
Create a visually appealing and user-centered interface. The ability to design a logical and intuitive information structure, use colors, fonts, and graphics to enhance the user experience is assessed.
- Product Design
Combine user needs with business goals to help brands create consistently successful products. Assesses the ability to develop concepts, conduct user research, and create prototypes based on the needs and desires of the target audience.
